“educated” opinions.
I was talking to someone last night about something very important to me. When I was telling him how I felt about it, basically justifying why I sounded so ridiculously fired up, he didn’t respond much. I asked him to say something, anything really, about it. He just told me that basically, i shouldn’t get involved in things that don’t directly affect me, and that he thought the situation i was upset about wasn’t as intense as I was making it. He could’ve had a point. But at the same time, why not form an opinion about something? Even if it was about how my opinion was stupid. He said, “I can’t make an educated opinion, I don’t know all the facts.” What’s an educated opinion? like, i was just talking about how I felt about something. There’s definately nothing educational about that. don’t try to get in my pants if you’re not interested at words coming out of my mouth.
